The Belgian National Convention 2020 (hereinafter NCN) is organized by JCI Kortrijk VZW, incorporated at 1020 Brussels, Emile Bockstaellaan 193.
This document sets out the terms and conditions between JCI Kortrijk and NCN Ticket holders.
By purchasing a ticket for NCN conference and/or workshops you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
JCI Kortrijk reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted to this website. This version of terms and conditions for JCI Kortrijk is applicable from September 2019 27th.

All prices indicated on the ncn2020.be website are in euros.
After successful purchase, an invoice will be sent and later on, a login code and password.
According to the Belgian Economic Law Code article VI. 53, 12 The consumer may not exercise the right of withdrawal provided for in article VI. Cancellations are not possible unless allowed by JCI Kortrijk.
However, it is possible to allocate the ticket to a third JCI-party if the ticket has been fully paid. Ticket holder name, company or any other information can be changed by each ticket holder by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Each new ticket holder will then receive the confirmation e-mail.
The tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances. In case of re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), JCI Kortrijk reserves the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.
NCN online payment gate is through Mollie or through bank transfer in the case of group tickets.
Paying by bank transfer, the term of payment is 7 days net, your subscription is final when the ticket has been fully paid. JCI Kortrijk may request verification of payment for the purpose of resolving possible disputes about the purchase.
Late payment shall by law, and without notice of default, incur late payment interest of 12 % a year on the total amount of the payable claim from the due date. Moreover, an irreducible fixed compensation amounting to 10 % of the payable claim, with a minimum of € 50, shall be charged by law and without notice of default.
Non-payment on the due date of a single invoice shall make the balance of all other invoices owed, even those not yet due, immediately due and payable by law. Any overdue payment, or partly overdue payment, owed by the ticketholder on the due date shall entitle us to automatically and by law terminate the contract. Notification of this termination can be made via any legal procedure. Late payment interest and the fixed compensation shall remain due despite the annulment of the sale. If a buyer fails to meet his obligations, we shall be entitled to annul the sale, without prejudice to our right to compensation and interest.
If our faith in the buyer’s creditworthiness is compromised as a result of legal enforcement measures against the buyer and/or verifiable other events, which call into question and/or make confidence in the successful execution of the obligations undertaken by the buyer impossible, we reserve the right, even if all or part of the goods have already been dispatched, to suspend the entire order or part thereof and demand appropriate guarantees from the buyer. If the buyer refuses to respond, we reserve the right to cancel all or part of the order, without prejudice to our right to all manner of compensation and interests.
After purchasing a ticket for NCN conference or workshops you will receive an automatically generated registration confirmation.
At the convention you can claim your NCN badge which will grant access to the conference and/or workshops.
Pick-up for badges is in the beginning of the conference/workshops at the location. When picking up the badge the customer must present the e-mail ticket (can be printed or showed on the phone).
While speakers and topics are confirmed at least 1 month before the conference, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers, activities and/or topics.
As such, JCI Kortrijk reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers, activities and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
JCI Kortrijk will not be liable for any loss injury or damage to any person or property howsoever caused (on the website, during the event,…) . JCI Kortrijk will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen. Each participant must make provision for his or her own insurance.
JCI Kortrijk reserves the right to refuse admission to any event or conference for any behavior, which it deems unacceptable, or for breach of the terms and conditions.
The contents of this site, including brands, logos, drawings, data, product and company names, texts, images, etc., are protected by intellectual rights and belong to JCI Kortrijk or entitled third parties.
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of JCI Kortrijk and its licensors. This website is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Belgium and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of JCI Kortrijk.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by JCI Kortrijk.
JCI Kortrijk has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that JCI Kortrijk shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
If any part of these General Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, such part will be ineffective to the extent of such invalid or unenforceable part only, without affecting the remaining parts of this Agreement in any way. This clause will be replaced by another clause that approaches the goal of the invalid or unenforceable clause/part of the Agreement in a way that it is valid or enforceable. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Courts of the place of JCI Kortrijk as mentioned above will be competent. Consumer disputes arising from e-commerce can also be handled by http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
